On July 9, 2026, QUTAC was present as a business Partner at the renowned Stallwächterparty in Berlin — the traditional political summer reception hosted by the Vertretung des Landes Baden-Württemberg beim Bund (Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg to the Federal Government. Held since 1964, the reception is regarded as one of the key communication platforms of the political summer in the German capital.
Under this year’s theme, “Exportschlager: Aus THE LÄND in die ganze Welt” (“Export hit: From THE LÄND to the whole world”), the event brought together more than 1,800 high-level guests from politics, business, diplomacy, culture, media, and beyond.
In this exceptional setting, the QUTAC booth helped make quantum technologies visible, accessible, and tangible for decision-makers and guests across sectors.
Visitors were invited to explore the potential of quantum computing through interactive and easy-to-grasp formats. Among them:
- A Cargo Optimization Challenge: a model cargo plane and parcels turned a knapsack problem into a hands-on experience and sparked interest in the kinds of commercial problems quantum computing is striving to solve
- QC Video loop: a quick look at how quantum algorithms work, and at the consortium’s working groups
- A quantum-themed game of tic tac toe
Throughout the evening, the booth created awareness for quantum technologies, showed in an engaging way how quantum computers calculate differently from classical systems, and made industrial use cases more concrete — from optimization problems to future commercial applications in an international business context.
QUTAC would like to thank the organizing team of the Stallwächterparty for creating such a unique platform for exchange, as well as all visitors at the booth who stopped by, shared perspectives, asked questions, and helped bring Germany’s quantum ecosystem into the spotlight.
